Why monitor accessibility if our site has already passed an audit?

Because an audit only reflects the state of your website on the day it was tested, while your site continues to evolve.

New blog posts, products, banners, and plugin updates can easily reintroduce barriers that were previously resolved. Monitoring catches them as they happen instead of uncovering them all at once during your next audit.

How does accessibility monitoring work in practice?

We define the list of monitored pages and user flows, check frequency, and reporting preferences.

Automated scans cover the selected scope on an ongoing schedule, while major updates—such as a redesign or checkout revamp—are paired with manual checks of critical paths. The report highlights newly discovered issues, regressions, and differences since the previous check.

Does monitoring detect all new accessibility issues?

Does monitoring help with European Accessibility Act requirements?

Starting 28 June 2025, Polish law implementing the European Accessibility Act comes into force for certain products and services. If it applies to your organisation, ongoing monitoring makes it straightforward to prove that accessibility is actively maintained rather than treated as a one-time checklist. You should consult legal counsel to determine if and how the regulations apply to your business.

Can you monitor a website remediated by another team?

Yes. We begin with a baseline audit establishing the current state of your site.

If you have an existing audit report, we use it as a reference point. From then on, every subsequent check compares current performance against the prior benchmark.
