We define the scope at the beginning of our cooperation. It may include navigation, forms, content, contrast, interactive elements, as well as the checkout or registration process. Is an automated scan enough to assess WCAG compliance?
No. Automated scans can identify some issues, but they cannot detect every accessibility barrier. Human evaluation is also required, including keyboard navigation, messages and feedback, and how the website works with assistive technologies.
Does the audit cover the entire online store?
For larger online stores, we select representative templates and key user journeys, such as finding a product and placing an order. The report clearly defines the scope of the assessment and its limitations. We do not present results from a few selected views as if every page had been tested.
